“What do you do if it rains?”
Are you wondering about Maui weather conditions for your wedding in January, February, March or April? The desert side (South Side) of the island known as Makena, is one of the best areas on the island to avoid rain showers. Kapalua, Lahaina, and Kaanapali have beautiful sunny beaches, but because they are on the West Side they also have unexpected showers much more often than the drier, Makena Wailea area. Because showers are much less frequent on the South Side, when they do occur they are often very localized. That means that often we can drive a mere five minutes down the beach to another beautiful location to perform your ceremony and do your photographs.
We also like to suggest that you consider having a morning Maui wedding ceremony. In the morning the skies are almost always clear and blue. Sunsets are also normally spectacular, but the weather conditions can vary more often. Sometimes the clouds may obscure the setting sun, and also the beaches can be busier.
