Mark & Lori are from the Pacific NW in Washington State, both grew up in the same neighborhood in North Seattle, and went to the same places as kids. They moved around as adults in parallel, never knowing one another. For the past 20 years, they lived on the same cul-de-sac with one house between them, raised kids, worked jobs, and went about their own business. Little did they know, their dogs would bring them together when the time was right.
Mark got a yellow lab puppy and named her Lucy. Two years later, Lori rescued a 2-year-old black lab mix and named him Drogon.
They saw each other on a neighborhood walk, and the two dogs clawed at each other so excited to meet, leashes tangled, and Lucy’s harness came off.
These 80-pound dogs were so happy and excited to be together, best dog friends instantly. Mark asked Lori if they could dog walk together, and they have been walking their dogs together every day thereafter. Spending 1.5 to 2 hours together every day walking, they got to know each other quickly, and romance blossomed within a week.
They’re now a happy family of 4: Mark, Lori, and the pups. They go on adventures together, making new memories almost every weekend.
